IN A RECENT UPDATE PROVIDED BY ONE MONITORING ORGANIZATION, isisstudygroup.com, THEY ALLEDGED THAT AN ASIAN, POSSIBLY A “FILIPINO TAUSUG*” IS INVOLVED IN THE BEHEADING OF A FORMER AMERICAN.
*I don’t agree with this kind of direct labeling without any direct evidence.
Former US Army Ranger – turned Muslim convert – Peter Kassig was allegedly beheaded by the Islamic State (IS) recently, according to several media outlets. Apparently, 18 Syrian Air Force pilots were also beheaded, although the numbers vary from 18 to 20. Here's the screen grab of the said video showing an alleged Filipino IS a member.
If this is true, it belies the Government of the Philippines’ statement that plays down and dismisses the idea of an active ISIS involvement and movement in the southern Philippines. as the site isisstudygroup.com highlights;
“This is simply the GPH attempting to minimize the threat, and they’re doing that because they don’t have a good grasp on the severity of the situation. Also, President Aquino is becoming increasingly worried about his sagging approval ratings and very real possibility that his signature policy – the Bangsamoro Peace Deal – will become more of a nightmare than a dream.”
Further, the site also mentioned US ambassador to the Philippines, Philip Goldberg’s statements yesterday to “take all that with the grain of salt.” He also goes on to state that although he’s concerned about Filipinos traveling to Syria and Iraq to fight under the IS banner, he still clings to the belief that “no indicators exist.”
Their opinion on this matter is:
“We disagree, and assess that although Philippines terror groups aren’t quite at the level of their Indonesia and Malaysia-based counterparts, they are still actively working to achieve their goal of securing overseas funding associated with IS to help finance their operations inside their home country. Furthermore, we assess that approximately 10-20 Filipinos have actually traveled to Syria or Iraq with the purpose of networking with “the right people” connected to foreign financiers. In this piece we will lay out some key developments that contradict Ambassador Goldberg’s assertions.”
Now, we have a piece of disputable evidence that indeed, the probability is high for southern Philippines terror cell to be sending fighters to Syria and joined the ISIS.
For now, all we have to do is wait for the next events to unfold as the GRP and USGov don’t tell us the truth on this matter.

It is now one of the obvious reason that the Tripoli Agreement after its signing was never fully implemented and you may now know why the next and now a new one are being drafted with another sponsorship of Malaysia. Its all for the greed of gold with promises of progress, prosperity and assurance that nothing could go wrong but Murphy's Law is just around the corner: if something could go wrong, it will go wrong.
