Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Oscar Albayalde is encouraging everyone, most especially PNP personnel and their dependents, and civilians to take part to the 2019 PNP PGS Institutionalization Run on Sunday, June 15.
The fun run will start at 4:00 AM at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City wherein about 2,000 participants are expected to join the activity.
The PNP Chief said that the activity aims to strengthen partnership of the police and the community as it will showcase different PNP transformation initiatives through the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
Aside from the PNP, National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (NAGTPD) and ASA Philippines are part of the organizers of the activity and proceeds will be given to the members of the PNP who are wounded in action.
“We want to sustain what has been built by the past PNP leadership in PNP PATROL Plan 2030, and to qualify for the final stage of the PGS which is the Institutionalization Evaluation Process,” Albayalde said.
He also said that the current PNP leadership is building a real and lasting transformation program that responds to the over-all needs of our organization to attain our vision.
“Since the implementation of the PNP PATROL Plan 2030, the PNP has established an effective measuring tool to track the implementation of identified measures, targets, and initiatives,” he said.
