As of today, April 17, PNP Health Service Director, Police Brigadier General Herminio Tadeo Jr said there are additional six (6) new confirmed cases of personnel infected with COVID-19.
This brings the total (of COVID-19 positive PNP personnel) to 65 confirmed cases, with 501 suspected and 51 probable PNP personnel infected by the virus.
The six more confirmed cases were:
PNP 60- 36 year old male;
PNP 61- 29 year old female;
PNP 62- 36 year old female;
PNP 63- 29 year old male;
PNP 64- 47 year old male; and
PNP 65- 33 year old male
All were assigned in Metro Manila. Meanwhile, 40 PNP personnel have been admitted; 14 confirmed Home-Quarantined, still 3 deaths and 8 recovered from COVID-19.
PNPHS also recorded a total of 51 PNP personnel who are categorized as Probable Persons Under Investigation (Probable PUIs) including 13 Police Commissioned Officers, 36 Police Non-Commissioned Officers and 2 Non-Uniformed Personnel.
Meanwhile, a total 501 personnel were recommended as Suspected Persons Under Investigation (Suspected PUIs) including 110 Police Commissioned Officers, 358 Police Non-Commissioned Officers, and 33 Non-Uniformed Personnel.
A total of 557 personnel which includes 173 Probable PUIs and 383 Suspected PUIs have completed self/home quarantine.
Moreover, the NHQ PNP COVID-19 Patient Care Center (Kiangan Billeting Center) has already admitted 37 PNP personnel listed as PUIs and who undergo self-quarantine including 10 PCO, 24 PNCO, and 3 NUP while Spring Hotel admiited a total of 103 personnel (13 PCO, 70 PNCO, 12 NUP and 8 Civilian employees).
