China is now adopting a Maritime Police concept. Time to give importance and fleet upgrade to the PNP Maritime Group – the Philippines’ Police force mandated to enforce the National laws up to the Territorial Waters, investigate and prosecute those who commits crimes over the maritime settings. 
Their creation of the maritime police sends a message that they are now intent on imposing their local and national laws over the area which they are having a maritime claim, including the SCS-WPS area.
