COPS GET YEAREND BONUS

OIC PNP, Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco F Gamboa has approved the release of P7.4Billion pesos for the year-end bonus of its personnel today, November 15.

Following the directive, PMGEN Jose Victor Ramos, Director for Comptrollership said about P7,481,118,702.86 pesos was allotted for the 2019 year-end bonus of 205,189 uniformed and non-uniformed PNP personnel nationwide.

The year-end bonus is equivalent to the amount of the monthly basic salary of each personnel along with the mandated P5,000 cash gift from the national government.
The year-end bonus has been credited to the ATM payroll accounts of each non-uniformed and uniformed police personnel through the Land Bank of the Philippines.

PBGen Joselito Vera Cruz, Director of Finance Service said that PNP personnel who are not yet enrolled in the ATM payroll system will receive their individual cheques through their Regional Finance Service Offices.

However, the year-end bonuses for PNP personnel with pending administrative and criminal cases have been put on hold as part of PNP disciplinary policy. (PNP-PIO)
