PNP ORAS: Important points to consider during Online Application

The Online Recruitment Application System (ORAS) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) is the new standard in recruitment of new policemen.

Applicants must register and submit certain documents to the system for them to qualify to the next round of selection process.

This was a great move for the PNP as it streamlined the process that was marred previously with various controversies and issues related to nontransparency of the process.

But now, the online system made that process straight forward.

However, the system being online, is not without problems or glitches. As such, the following are some information that is vital for the applicant.

These information should be noted when using the ORAS:

1. PARA SA MGA MAY PROBLEM SA KANILANG ACCOUNT AT NAG-AAPPEAR NA “NAME ALREADY EXIST“

Please send a message to email address oras.pnp@gmail.com and/or contact DPRM-ORAS at 639778148961 for them to fix your account and remove the double entry.

The reason why you are getting the said error message is because you input multiple entries.
Again, do not repeat your application as it will certainly result to the above error.
Just follow the instructions.

2. TANONG: Mostly ilang araw o buwan nag tatagal ang online registration Sir?

SAGOT: May Schedule yan, usually 1-2 months*

3. DOUBLE CHECK NYO LAHAT NG INI-INPUT AT INAATTACH NYO, BAGO NYO ISUBMIT.

Reminding all aspiring applicants to secure your digitized/scanned initial requirements as follows:

2×2 white background colored picture with nametag (Surname, Given Name M.I.) Format
White T-Shirt (Round or V-neck is accepted)
No glasses
Digitized/Scanned picture (should be in JPEG file format)
Transcript of Records and Diploma. Digitized/Scanned file can be in any size format (A4, Legal, Letter etc..) and should be in 1 document PDF file.TOR & Diploma = 1 PDF file; and
Eligibility can be in any size format = 1 PDF file.

In the end, all applicants must have 1 jpg file and 2 pdf files.

4. TANONG: Nassa registration palang ako, ayaw nya pumasok puro “site can’t be reached” ang sinasabi

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon, madami pong nagaaccess ng website ngayon kaya po nag ttraffic. Pasensya na po

5. TANONG: Good Afternoon Rsd Dprm , may chance po bang maayus yung RAF namin? May mali po kasi , yung Eligibility ko naging R.A 1080 , eh R.A 6505 naman po yun pag fill up ko. at saka yung Character Ref. ko po Blanko?

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon, ok na po yun. May glitch lang po sa server namin.

6. TANONG: sir pa help ako, bkit 47 yrs old ako at napalitan ung birthday ko, naging January 1, 1970?

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon, kung tama naman po yung entry nyo tapos mali po yung lumabas sa RAF ok lang po yun, glitch lang po sa system yun.

7. TANONG: mam/sir pano po ibahin yun mga finill upan po iba po kasi yun lumabas nun tinignan ko sa RAF pero tama naman po yun nilagay ko and yun iba po nag empty?

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon! Pwede nyo po iedit ngayon yung maling entry pero one time lang po pwede mag edit.

8. TANONG: Hindi ko pa po na recieve ang verification code sa gmail ko?

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon, pakihintay lang po. Baka po natraffic lang po sa server namin.

9. TANONG: Mga mam/sir may tanong lang ako.. panu po kaya un nagkamali ako ng email na naibigay.. kaso na send ko na ung 1st step. pag inuulit ko para palitan ung email eh ang lumalabas na “NAME ALREADY EXIST” 🙁 baka may mkakasagot.. salamat.. di kc ako makapag log in para sa next step kc mali ung nailagay kong email sa 1st step. SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon, pakiemail nalang po yung concern nyo sa oras.pnp@gmail.com.

10. TANONG: Sir/Ma’am ano po ang aking dapat gawin kung wala po nag papakita na mga info sa RAF na na narecieve ko? kahit ilan ulit ko pong ulitin ganun parin po yung lumalabas… blanko po na RAF. pa help naman po.

SAGOT BY RSD DPRM: Good afternoon! Ok lang po na blank ang RAF. Considered po na successful ang application nyo po.

11. TANONG: DATI NAG APPLY NA AKO NUON SA PAG PASOK KO SA PNP SA ONLINE HINDI AKO NAPASAMA SA SUNOD PO BANG APPLICATION KO GAMIT ULIT YUNG ONLINE, DO I NEEW TO CREATE NEW ACC O YUNG ACC PO MISMO NA GINAMIT KO DATI

SAGOT As Per PSSUPT LAWRENCE B COOP, Chief Recruitment and Selection Division DPRM: NEW ACC ksi DISREGARDED na yung LUMANG ACC kasi that time hindi naman kayo NATANGGAP.

Sir hindi po ako makapaglog in sa account ko.

Good afternoon po. Yung email account po ibinigay niyo is hindi po nag eexist.

Mga maam and sir.,nag login po ako kaso wala pa po pala sa recruiting unit/office yung region na aapplyan ko sana. So, nag log-out nalang po ako. Pag login ko ulit wala pong lumabas na recruiting unit/office..anu po ba dapat gawin mga maam/sir..thnx po sa sasagot.:)

Sir,/ Ma’am, everytime po na iclick ko na yung “submit” laging may error. Pag i previous ko nawawala yung “submit” kapag icheck ko yung profile. nawawala lahat ng input ko. Meaning po ba non successful na nakapasok? or kelangan ko ulitin. 5x ko na po ako nag try.

Sir/Maam paano po pag wala akong copy ng RAF ko pinasa ko kasi nung nag report ako. Tapos ngayon magpapasa kami ulit? Hindi ko po maopen yung email ko. Pahelp naman po thank you
