10 more High-Speed Tactical Watercraft for PNP MG Up For Bidding in 2020

The PNP Bids and Awards Committee is set to open the bids for 10 High Speed Tactical Watercrafts (HSTW) on November 3, 2020.

In an Invitation To Bid document published in PNP website, it is stated that the supply of 10 HSTWs will have a budget of 126 million pesos under Public Bidding No. PNP-GAA20PB-20-14G.

According to the Invitation, the delivery of these HSTW should be within 180 days from the receipt of the Notice To Proceed, unless the contractor can provide a proof of justifiable circumstances for its extension. It means that the additional 10 HSTWs are expected to be delivered by 2nd to 3rd Quarter next year.

This contract (to supply the said 10 HSTW) follows the PNP Test Parameters and the NAPOLCOM specs under MC No. 2017-279 and is supplemented by the additional requirements identical to that of the 22 HSTWs supplied by Dynamic Power for the 3rd batch.

Based on the same Invitation to Bid stated above, the recipients of these 10 HSTWs are the following:

  • RMU 2 – Sta. Ana MARPSTA, Cagayan
  • RMU 3 – Bataan MARPSTA, Mariveles, Bataan
  • RMU 4B – Occidental Mindoro MARPSTA, San Jose, Occidental
  • RMU 9 – Baliwasan Seaside, Zamboanga City
  • RMU 11 – Sta. Ana Pier, Monteverde Avenue, Davao City
  • SOU 3 – Don Galo, Parañaque
  • SOU 4 – Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental
  • SOU 5 – Pagadian City

The PNP will hold a Pre-bid conference on October 20, 2020 in Camp Crame to accomodate prospective bidders, then bid opening on November 3, 2020.

The funding source for this particular procurement is the PNP Capability Enhancement Program (PNP-CEP) under 2020 General Appropriations Act.

We are optimistic that this bidding will become successful.
