The much awaited 2019 salary increase of PNP and MUP personnel is now coming to a reality, thanks to the signing of the 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA) or the annual budget of the Philippine Government.
The said executive issuance essentially amended EO 201 and circumvented the around the deadlock in the congress relative to the issues on the 2019 budget.
The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) issued Budget Circular Number 575 setting the implementing guidelines for Executive Order 76.
President Duterte signed Executive Order (EO) No. 76 granting the 4th Tranche of salary increase for Government Employees.
